Benjamin Jacob is a Paris-based lawyer, partner at PDGB Avocats, where he heads up the technology and intellectual property practice.

Benjamin is passionate about technology and assists a broad range of clients – from start-ups to various sectors leaders, including global technology companies, software publishers, banks, insurance companies, mass retailers and innovative online businesses – with all their requirements relating to IT law. His main areas of work are technology and software regulation, contracts and litigation. He also advises clients on the protection and the assignment, license and use of their intellectual property rights.

He started his career in 2001 with an advanced post-graduate diploma in technology law and is now ranked among the top technology lawyers by French publications Leaders League and Who’s Who Legal.

Benjamin also has extensive experience in relation to the opening and development of new markets, and their legal consequences. For instance, Benjamin chaired during 3 years the Online Games Committee of GESTE - one of the most influent French grouping of online service providers - which was created when the French government first announced the (then) upcoming opening to competition of the French online gambling market.

Benjamin is one of PDGB’s representative at Terralex, where he co-heads the Tech and Digital Business industry group, and also the Intellectual Property practice group.
